On Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9, stay for dinner, craft cocktails and the music of New Orleans!
Boukou Groove will take the stage Friday night to play their sound that intertwines New Orleans funk and soulful R&B with a Jam Band Twist. Then on Saturday, the Sluetown Strutters, normally seen and heard on the streets of the French Quarter, will perform their "jug-esque, rough and rowdy rag-time mixed with ruckus juice jingles." Each night, there will be Coastal cuisine available for purchase, along with craft cocktails, beer and wine.
As a current member of the Cultural Arts Alliance, you are invited to present up to 3 pieces of your artwork, for sale or display, in the Betty &Johnny Main CAA Member Art Tent during ArtsQuest weekend alongside over 130 juried artists. The Festival begins at Friday, May 8 at 12:00pm and runs through Sunday, May 10 at 6:00pm.
If you are interested, and your work is of a caliber to show in a Fine Arts Festival, please read our requirement guidelines carefully. There will be a CAA Member’s “Best in Show” that will receive a $100 award. The CAA will accept art in any medium, including jewelry, wood, baskets, fiber, metal, fabric and pottery.
ArtsQuest, a fine arts festival produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) and presented by Visit South Walton and Grand Boulevard at Sandestin reveals Amanda Bennett as the Featured Festival Artist.
The 27th annual festival, a Mother’s Day weekend tradition, is scheduled for May 8-10, in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin’s Town Center.
